Here at Pom Poms Party we care deeply about our Environment . We are proud members of the Pro Envrionment Balloon Alliance.
PEBA’s members do not support or condone, nor will they facilitate the deliberate release of balloons.
Members of PEBA are committed to educating their clients, venue managers and the general public, by all possible means, in the responsible use and disposal of balloons. PIN IT & BIN IT!
We have also signed the pledge at Balloon Facts,, which is the go to source for research based Balloon Information.
As Balloon Professionals, we have teken the decision to no longer support the release of balloons into the atmosphere, as we wish to protect the environment from unnecessary litter. We urge our customers and others to support our decision and not let go of helium filled balloons.
We understand it can be a difficult and emotional time for customers who wish to release balloons in memory of a loved one. We would love to help you find an alternative to balloon releases that can easlily and responsibily be disposed of following your event.
Balloon displays look stunning but what to do with them once you have finished with them?
Did you know Latex Ballons are not plastic and are made from natural rubber which is biodegradable. Once finshed with, these balloons can be popped and thrown away in your normal rubbish bin.
Foil balloons are not biodegrable but are, however, recyclable. They are made from a plastic/nylon synthetic material and can be disposed of with your recycable plastics. They can also be reused. Foil balloons can be deflated by carefully inserting a straw into the valve where the balloon was originally inflated from and allowing the air inside the balloon to escape. Once the balloon is empty it can be folded up and stored away to be used again.
